First session: pet, rebirths, and the bridge

Pick a starter pet, take the first rebirths, drop the 700 Tap Power bridge, and put the first Gems into Auto Clicker before you chase a portal.

What the first session asks you to do

[NEW] Tap Simulator: Reborn, by Cursor Makers (@dobdev and @Zued), pays Coins when you tap. Those Coins buy eggs, rebirths, and island portals. The opening prompt is a starter egg. Pick one companion:

  • Dog, described as loyal and brave
  • Cat, described as quick and curious
  • Bunny, described as bouncy and sweet

Name the pet, take the launch gift, and follow the tutorial taps. No stat table has been published for these three, so the first pick is a preference, not a measured power gap.

The first rebirths and the bridge

The rebirth control sits on the right side of the screen. The first rebirth is reported around 800 to 1,000 Coins. It clears the Coin wallet and pays Gems plus a permanent tap multiplier.

Recorded tutorial beats:

  1. Finish the first rebirth to open the gem economy.
  2. Reach about three rebirths so the Gem Upgrade tree opens.
  3. Reach about five rebirths to finish the introductory sequence.
  4. Build the team until Tap Power hits 700.
  5. Stand at the spawn drawbridge and tap the prompt until the bridge drops.

Pets, inventory, and later island unlocks are not wiped by this reset. An early preview from October 6, 2026 also shows quests, items, and profile buttons still closed in that build. Those buttons may exist on the current listing, so do not treat a closed button in that video as proof the feature is still missing.

Where the first Gems go

Spend the early Gems in this order when the node is actually on the tree:

  1. Auto Clicker. One recorded price is 20 Gems. It taps for you inside the experience.
  2. Click Power and Critical Clicks, which raise Coins per tap.
  3. Auto Rebirth, once you can afford it, so the highest unlocked button fires when the Coin cost is met.
  4. Egg Luck and Hatch Speed after the team can earn faster than you can open eggs.
  5. The first Double Jump, reported at 700 Gems on the pads near island edges, when you would rather parkour than save a portal fee.

Turn Auto Rebirth off while you are saving a portal or a big egg. The button spends the whole wallet.

What to do next

Lower the bridge, then either pay the Sky Island portal or buy the first extra jump and climb. Sky Island is the first paid zone. Its portal is reported between 7 million and 10 million Coins. Use the height or teleport icon above the shop after a zone unlocks so you do not reclear the parkour.

The number floating over an egg stand, such as 10x or 50x, is how many hatches your current Coins can pay for. It is not a luck multiplier.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What do you actually do in Tap Simulator: Reborn?

Tap anywhere to earn Coins, hatch eggs for pets that multiply those Coins, and rebirth to turn the Coin wallet into Gems plus a permanent tap multiplier. Gems buy the skill tree. Islands open by portal fees or by jumping up to them.

Does rebirth delete pets?

No. Rebirth spends the Coins you are holding. Pets, pet tiers, inventory, unlocked islands, shiny stars, and purchased gem upgrades stay.

Are there working codes?

No published reward-code string was found for this experience. The shop has a Support a Creator field for partner credit on Robux purchases. That field is not a free-item code, and codes from the original Tap Simulator belong to a different game.

Can you trade pets?

The public game description says trading is coming soon. Separate play notes say trading was on briefly and then turned off to fix duplication and interface bugs. Treat the current listing line as the status until the developers say it is open.
